ELYSIUM
THE CITY OF FATE
According to historical records, the kingdom of Elysium is acknowledged for experiencing minimal impact from war, owing to its location rich in flora and fauna. This allowed Elysium to recover from conflicts more swiftly than other human cities.
However, what occurred after the war wasn't just the swift recovery of the city but also encompassed religion and beliefs. That is the 'Church of Sleeping Luminous,' which believes in a beautiful future born from human potential and goodness.
Currently, Elysium's central city, 'Araboth,' is situated on an inner island within the northern gulf, surrounded by numerous satellite islands. The city itself is structured into several tiers, including 'Empyrean,' an upper-class district located on the inner island. This area serves as a residence for the elite and also hosts significant religious and political institutions, such as the Round Table Assembly and the Grand Temple of the Church of Sleeping Luminous.
In the 'Inner Sanctum', where common folk reside alongside land-owning lords and dreamers of a brighter future, the elite from Empyrean are warmly embraced, while those from the lower slums are often overlooked or ignored.
Finally, the 'Outer Sanctum,' situated beneath the shadow of Atlantis's dam that holds back its raging waves. However, this place is distinct from the 'Inner Sanctum,' filled with 'services' that draw the upper echelons to often descend upon the city in search of 'exclusive services' unavailable elsewhere. It also serves as the starting point for future events.
